Interventional Radiology:
- Non- vascular interventional procedures including CT-guided and USG guided procedures like pigtail catheter drainage, biopsies, and FNACs, Percutaneous Transhepatic Biliary Drainage (PTBD).

Dr. Vignesh Balasubramanian, MD, is specialized in the field of Radio-Diagnosis. He is proficient in performing all ultrasounds (USG), Dopplers, CT, MRI, X-RAY & Mammography, diagnostic interventional procedures such as USG, CT guided FNAC, biopsies and fluid tapping.
He was former resident in Department of Radio-Diagnosis, Narendra Modi Government Medical
College (erstwhile Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation Medical College- AMC MET) and LG General Hospital, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
He has been previously associated with Department of Radiology, Cancer Institute (W.I.A), Adyar, Chennai under the designation of Assistant Professor. There he specialized in the field of Oncoradiology and did extensive diagnostic intervention procedures including CT-guided biopsies and FNAC with experience in cross sectional imaging of all malignancies. He was also associated with Indira Medical College Hospital & Research Center, Thiruvallur (Near Chennai) as Assistant Professor in Department of Radiology.
He has also worked with International MNC, IBM – Wattson Healthcare in Artificial Intelligence (AI) development program involving extensive studies of liver, prostate and lung.
He developed annotation algorithm in CT liver and MRI prostate pathologies and improvised the annotation development of spinal and lung pathologies. He has also attended several national conferences and courses in the field of Radiology.
